Ya’ll would laugh if you knew the number of blog posts I’ve started and then left to die in my Google Drive. Anyway, here is a cool thing I did recently! AJ Marks invited me (read: I begged him) to be a guest on the Main Pod Girl podcast episode featuring BROOKE FUCKING CANDY. I first discovered her music in 2014, when I heard her featured on Charli XCX’s “Cloud Aura,” and I was instantly hooked. With her one-of-a-kind brand of unabashed, sex-positive, electro-pop, Brooke has paved the way for misfit pop stars like Ashnikko and Rico Nasty. We were so excited to talk to Brooke about her upcoming album Candyland (set to drop on July 25) which features the singles “Safeword,” “Pills,” and “Block.” Check out the episode below!
